The perfect venue for your dream wedding, the historic Harrowden Hall is the beautiful home of the prestigious Wellingborough Golf Club, situated in 160 acres of rolling countryside and set in the heart of Northamptonshire. The current hall dates to the 18th Century and with its jaw-dropping grounds, provides an ideal backdrop for your special day. From initial enquiry, right through to the big day, our designated team would be honoured to support you at every step of the planning process. Civil Ceremonies

Harrowden Hall is fully licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Partnerships, with three private areas to choose from to say, ‘I do.’

The Leather Room is a cosy and inviting space, hidden behind the Hall’s main entrance doors. Its wooden panelling and historic fireplace encapsulate the beauty of our Grade I listed building and grounds. This warm room is perfect for smaller gatherings, offering a separate ceremony and wedding breakfast space. Your intimate occasion is guaranteed to flow seamlessly.

The Vaux Room is not only an especially beautiful area of the Hall, but also a fantastically versatile space, suitable for groups of all sizes. It is ideal to host both your ceremony and wedding breakfast. With its high ceilings and splendid décor, the stunning view of our gardens from this luxurious room will certainly be a highlight for your guests!

The Secret Garden is a firm favourite for the summer months, as a glorious suntrap with the backdrop of the Vauxs’ Chapel making it even more impressive. Our pristine grounds provide an awe-inspiring setting that you and your guests are guaranteed to enjoy. Here you can wed in privacy surrounded of your nearest and dearest, so if you fancy the idea of saying your vows immersed in nature, then this is a brilliant option for you…

Marquee Weddings

It is possible for a sizeable Marquee to be erected amidst the stunning gardens and lawns on the Hall’s grounds, and a temporary wedding license can be granted if you are planning a larger celebration. This is ideal if you would like to host a larger celebration of 100+ guests for your ceremony, wedding breakfast, and/or evening reception all in one place.

We do not own a marquee; however, we are happy to recommend several marquee companies. A member of our team can meet you and the supplier to scout the site and help to plan the perfect day.

Post Ceremony Drinks and Canapés

After your wedding ceremony, our staff will greet guests with any drinks and/or canapes you have selected. Guests can socialise in the functions bar or relax in the gardens while your photographs are being taken.

Wedding Breakfast

Here at Harrowden Hall, we understand the importance of food at your wedding. It is a uniting force, creating a shared experience of enjoyment for you and your guests to enjoy and remember fondly.

Our main dining hall, the Vaux Room, can comfortably seat your guests from groups of 10 – 80. The room will be decorated by our excellent events team, using the decorations you have provided or with our own décor depending on your preference. All glassware, crockery and white linen cloths are including.

Our excellent chefs have created a wedding menu with a large variety of delicious options to choose from. Our menus are just a guideline and can always be amended if there is a dish better suited to your special day.

Evening Reception

For evening buffet dining, we can offer a wide range of different culinary options, including finger buffets, street food, hog roasts, pizza menus, among others. As with the wedding breakfast, our buffet options are flexible, and our Head Chef would be excited to create a menu that reflects your background and personality.

Evening receptions take place in the downstairs part of the Hall, with 2 Bars, a Lounge Area, Leather and Committee Rooms, as well as a Dance Floor. Guests are also always welcome to enjoy the gardens and patio area.

Additionally, we offer a security team during the evening due to the out-of-town location of the Hall. Guests can leave their cars in our car park overnight (at their own risk) if they wish.
